  According to the news (my friends mom told me, she noticed my Slipknot shirt) and she said ''Audrey, Slipknot's splitting up.'' I freaked out, left their house, ran home turn my TV on and watched ever single news coverage I could find. None of them had it, so I turned to the computer and I looked here first, it didn't say anything, so I was looking harderand I found this; http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1644804/20100730/slipknot.jhtml ''Slipknot Are Divided Over Future Without Bassist Paul Gray''. The one part in that thing that hit me the most was "There will be no other bass players besides Jim [Root], Mick [Thomson] and me, more than likely," Jordison said. "Everyone actually kind of plays guitar in the band, so I think we're all gonna play bass on the record. We're not gonna have anyone come in. But live, we'll deal with that when it comes." I'm... sorta glad they refuse to replace Gray...

  Then I decided to look on Wikipedia, I STILL didn't believe that they we on hiatus, even after everything I read. But, of course, to my dis-belief, it was true. They are on hiatus. ''Years active 1995 (1995)–present (on hiatus)''

  I really just want Slipknot to continue as an eight, who cares if it's not the nine at least you wont be doing something that you're going to regret, disappoint your fans...

  Another one of my favourite bands is splitting this year, I really don't want to see Slipknot disband!!!

  Sorry I haven't been here- I ran away for the past 2-ish months. I would have told you guys earlier, but I got beat up coming out of a concert a week before I left and my iPhone got stolen. Just to make a long story short, a bunch of shit happened at my house (cause my grandpa found out a ton of shit about me; the drugs, some of the music I listen to, my heavy metal jacket, being a part of LGBT...) and he just dropped a huge ass bomb. End of that story... :/

  When I was away I was listening hard to The Blister Exists' lyrics and for some reason I thought ''I really want to start a Slipknot cover band...'' but where I live EVERYONE hates Slipknot -it's ridiculous. Fuck, the DJ at my school doesn't even want to, and he's the only other one that likes Slipknot. So now I am asking anyone here if they want to. I can cover either Corey's vocals or Shawn's parts.
